- It’s always more valuable if we can say where/when it was played/worn/used/etc.
- It’s always more valuable with a clear provenance --- that is, we can say how it came to the auction from the artist. We will not publicly reveal the provenance. For the auction purposes, we will simply say things like "A label executive obtained this directly from the artist" or "A family member provided this item." Only the buyer will know the actual line of provenance, and we will keep even that blind if you prefer.
- Serious fans will like things that are hard or impossible for consumers to get but that you may have in your offices, like complete press kits or video dubs of every version of a song that had multiple video release versions done.
